WAGE exists to support the clinical care of patients in Wales with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver, and those requiring diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.  The primary route towards achieving this is to bring together the following groups of healthcare professionals:

  • Medical gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, clinical oncologists and many other subspecialties
  • Medical, nursing and other healthcare professionals involved with caring for patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreatic and biliary tree, working in both North and South Wales.
