Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking onto a WAGE conference and making a payment.
Event requirements
Please note that it is your responsibility, as an applicant, to ensure that:• the information you provide to WAGE is accurate and complete• the event meets your training needs• you meet all of the course pre-requisites, where stated. WAGE reserves the right to request additional information to further inform the booking. • Full payment is made prior to the event start date.
Failure to do so may result in your booking being cancelled and, where appropriate, an administration charge being deducted from any refund that is due.
Overseas applicants who do not hold a UK GMC number maybe required to produceadditional information to support their booking:
The WAGE course organiser will contact you at the time of booking to ensure that the additional information is received prior to the course start date.
Payment
Ideally, payment should be taken at the time of booking.
Cancellations
All requests for cancellations should be made via email or in writing and will be subject to cancellation charges, dependent on the period of notice given:• six or more weeks’ notice given – 10% of the event fee• less than 6 weeks’ notice given – 100% of the event fee.
In the unlikely event of WAGE having to cancel or postpone a course then you will be contacted by email and offered an alternative date. If this is not possible then you will be given a full refund of the course fee paid. WAGE will not be liable for any travel or accommodation costs that have already been incurred.
Unforeseen circumstances
WAGE makes every effort to ensure that events run as advertised. However, applicants should be aware that sometimes it may necessary to change the coursetimetable and/or speakers without prior notice. Under these circumstances WAGE will not be liable for any travel or accommodation costs that have already been incurred.
Waiting list
Once an event is full, your details will automatically be added to a waiting list. This list will be regularly reviewed and applicants offered a place on a first come first served basis.
Certificates
Additional requests for certificates will incur a £10 fee.

If you have any requirements that you think we should be made aware of prior to the course, then please do not hesitate to contact a member of the WAGE team.
All attendees at WAGE events title, name, position and hospital are added to a delegate list. Delegate lists are available to the event sponsors.
Please note that registration on an events means that you agree to these terms and conditions. Where delegates do not meet the required entry requirements WAGEreserves the right to cancel the place on the course.
WAGE membership
By becoming a member of WAGE you are agreeing for WAGE to hold your personal data. WAGE use your information for the purposes of contacting members via email for WAGE business (voting), WAGE events and sharing professional news. Unless you specifically request so we will add your email to a mail out list to keep you updated.
Data protection privacy notice
WAGE is hosted by Cardiff University. Cardiff University will process the personal data you provide to us in accordance with data protection regulations. In submitting your details you consent to the University processing your personal data in order to send you information, in accordance with the preferences you have indicated above. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting the Professional Development team.
Please be aware that where delegates are attending BSG endorsed events it may be necessary to transfer data to the BSG to support event attendance and certification. Where this is necessary only the information that is deemed absolutely necessary will be transferred.
