The Welsh Association of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (WAGE) is seeking to appoint a member of the association to lead the development of the Nursing and Allied Health Professional network and provide ongoing leadership to colleagues. The Nursing and Allied Healthcare Professional Network will support the executive committee to ensure that strategic and operational plans are delivered, and members needs are met. 

WAGE was established in 2007 as the professional leadership group for Gastroenterology in Wales. The aim is to improve care of patients with gastrointestinal disorders by providing leadership, professional advice, collaboration, improved standards and by facilitating patient interface.

A strategic plan has been developed to inform the work plan and delivery of the plan requires multi professional collaboration. The Lead NAHP will become a member of the Executive Committee of WAGE and ensure effective two- way communications between nurses and allied healthcare professionals and WAGE.  

We are seeking to appoint a Lead NAHP from October this year to support the President and Executive Committee establish the network and provide ongoing leadership for a period of 2 years.

The Welsh Association of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (WAGE) is seeking to appoint a member of the association to lead the development of a WAGE research network. The Research Lead will go on to chair the network and support the executive committee to deliver the strategic and operational plans relating to research, and audit. 

WAGE was established in 2007 as the professional leadership group for Gastroenterology in Wales. The aim is to improve care of patients with gastrointestinal disorders by providing leadership, professional advice, collaboration, improved standards and by facilitating patient interface.

Improvement in health outcomes is dependent on quality research. WAGE is committed to developing, leading, and supporting participation in research and audit which will lead to improvements for Welsh patients and staff.

The Research Lead will become a member of the Executive Committee of WAGE and ensure effective two- way communications between members of the research network, academic and industry partners, and WAGE.  

We are seeking to appoint a Research Lead from October this year to support the President and Executive Committee establish the Research Network and provide ongoing leadership for a period of 4 years.

The Pathology Lead will go on to chair the network and support the executive committee to deliver the strategic and operational plans and provide a voice for GI Pathologists in Wales. 

WAGE was established in 2007 as the professional leadership group for Gastroenterology in Wales. The aim is to improve care of patients with gastrointestinal disorders by providing leadership, professional advice, collaboration, improved standards and by facilitating patient interface.

The GI Pathology Lead will become a member of the Executive Committee of WAGE and ensure effective two- way communications between members of the pathology network and WAGE.  

We are seeking to appoint a Pathology Lead from October this year to support the President and Executive Committee establish the GI Pathology Network and provide ongoing leadership for a period of 3 years.

WAGE was established in 2007 as the professional leadership group for Gastroenterology in Wales. The aim is to improve care of patients with gastrointestinal disorders by providing leadership, professional advice, collaboration, improved standards and by facilitating patient interface.

A strategic plan has been developed to inform the work plan and delivery of the plan requires effective leadership and engagement with all relevant stakeholders. We are seeking to appoint a Vice President from October this year to support the President and Executive Committee for a period of 2 years, after which they will become President for a further 2 years.

Expressions of interest are invited from WAGE members who satisfy requirements of the role profile. The post holder will become a member of the WAGE Executive Committee for the tenure of this role.

The Welsh Association of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (WAGE) is seeking to appoint a member of the Association as Treasurer to lead on the safeguarding of the organisation’s finances and work in collaboration with the Executive Committee to ensure that strategic and operational plans are aligned to resources. 

WAGE was established in 2007 as the professional leadership group for Gastroenterology in Wales. The aim is to improve care of patients with gastrointestinal disorders by providing leadership, professional advice, collaboration, improved standards and by facilitating patient interface.

A strategic plan has been developed to inform the work plan and delivery of the plan requires sound financial governance and the Treasurer will work in collaboration with the Executive Committee of WAGE to clarify the financial implications of proposals and other financial matters.

We are seeking to appoint a Treasurer from October this year to support the President and Executive Committee for a period of 5 years.

Are you a registered nurse looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity to develop your professional and personal skills? 

WAGE is offering the opportunity for a nurse currently working within gastroenterology or a relevant discipline to be our representative within the BSG Nursing Associate committee.

We are looking for someone who is motivated and enthusiastic with the confidence to represent WAGE members at a UK level and who is passionate about improving the quality of the service our members provide across Wales.

You should have the experience to be able to present written and verbal reports with excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with all committee members.

The successful candidate will become an active member of the WAGE Executive Committee for the duration of the 3-year tenure of this post.
