Welcome to WAGE!
Welsh Association for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (WAGE)
This website is under redevelopment, so please be patient as exciting changes are implemented.
WAGE exists to support the clinical care of patients in Wales with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver, and those requiring diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. The primary route towards achieving this is to bring together the following groups of healthcare professionals:
- Medical gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, clinical oncologists and many other subspecialties
- Medical, nursing and other healthcare professionals involved with caring for patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreatic and biliary tree, working in both North and South Wales.
Meetings & Awaydays
Our Autumn meeting will be held at the Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells on Thursday 1 October. The theme this year will be gastrointestinal haemorrhage.
This will be preceded by an Awayday on Wednesday 30 September for which the theme will be “Inherited colorectal cancer predisposition and the service in Wales”. Registration is now open under the “meetings and awaydays” link, and the programmes are under “Recent news”.
